I am trying hard to get some sewing done but life has intervened again; I have a shirt cut out, interfaced and marked ready to start. I was using my pressing mesh to iron on the interfacing and thought I’d post a photograph or two, it’s excellent for the job because I can see what and where I’m pressing through the cloth.

I’ve had this mesh for about ten years and it’s coping with high heat, I expect it to melt but it doesn’t; I don’t know what it’s made of but it’s tough.

If I press up my seam on pieces like the collar stand, I can make sure it doesn’t open or distort.
These cloths are available on eBay, I bought myself a few backups, they only cost about $1 with free postage – what could be better than that?
