A touch of country.

I’ve decided on a pattern for the denim shirt I want to make; it’s Simplicity 1327. I’ve already copied the pattern onto cardboard, so it’s ready to go.

I shall make it in the blue fabric first, not much of a loss if it doesn’t work out.

The pattern has a couple of different yoke treatments which should look good in denim, it also has a curved back yoke.

I saved the image of another Western style shirt that I may like to make at a later date; I hope it’s still available.

It’s a sad world now, let’s hope it will pass soon. We are going on a picnic this week, not to any of the beaches as they are closed but on the bluff above one of the main beaches (as long as there aren’t too many people).

Time to get ready to sew, always a pleasure.

Regards,
Will.
