Paul Klee? Who knows but that’s the way this fabric looks – to me anyway. It’s certainly busy so I thought a bit of solid colour may help calm it down.

For once I have more than enough fabric, so perhaps I should make a pair of matching shorts (joke).

On a more sombre note; right now the air is redolent with the smell of bush fire smoke and the sun blood red, I photographed the sun but the redness doesn’t show.

It has been a tough New Years Eve for so many people and there will be more to come with two months of summer remaining.

It’s cool today, so that will help the brave and tireless firefighters – perhaps it’ll even rain.
