I have been working on a shirt which is a beautiful shade of blue but the fabric is difficult to sew, it puckers no matter what I do or whatever setting I use.

Its taken a lot of heavy ironing to get it this smooth, I shall continue with it anyway.

The collar is alright, I used multi-colour thread because I couldn’t buy the correct blue locally.

The front placket and pockets are puckered, I bought this fabric along with a cream because they felt great and I loved the colours, I’ve worn the cream and it’s cool in the warm weather although it must be synthetic.
I usually check the fabric make up before I buy because I like cotton or polycotton.

The cream isn’t quite as bad but still not happy…
No sewing today, other duties are calling.
